How to ensure the safety of pulverized coal preparation

30 Mar,2022 UTC+8 Views:

Pulverized coal preparation refers to grinding coal into pulverized coal with a certain particle size to improve the utilization rate of coal. In the process of pulverized coal preparation, it is also necessary to pay attention to some safety matters. There are two common safety accidents in the pulverized coal preparation system.

The first: spontaneous combustion. When the coal is in a state of accumulation, the oxidation rate exceeds the heat dissipation rate, and spontaneous combustion occurs. When the coal mill is running or shutting down, some deposited coal in the system is prone to spontaneous combustion. Therefore, preventing pulverized coal deposition in the system and preventing air leakage are important measures to prevent spontaneous combustion.
The second: secondary explosion. When the pulverized coal reaches a certain fineness, it directly contacts the air in a suspended state. Once ignited, it can rapidly oxidize and explode.
Therefore, when selecting pulverized coal preparation equipment, safety factors should be fully considered to improve production safety. The upper shell of the vertical coal mill produced by CHAENG is equipped with an explosion-proof valve to prevent the explosion of pulverized coal in the mill and ensure the safe use of the equipment. In addition, the grinding roller device adopts a pair of spherical roller bearings, and the bearing sealing cavity extends to the outside of the casing, which does not contact with dusty gas to prevent the explosion.
If you need pulverized coal preparation equipment, please feel free to inquire online or leave a message.
