The exhaust fan speed and fuel volume are often the cause of kiln tail temperature variations. If the speed of the exhaust fan is increased, the amount of fuel is increased or the amount of feed is decreased, the result will increase the temperature at the kiln end; on the contrary, the temperature at the end of the kiln will be reduced due to the decrease of the speed of the exhaust fan, the decrease of the fuel amount or the increase of the amount of feed, etc.
